Pink Attitude release party

23 creative artists from all over the world in one pink book

Ciao Bella! I’m back from a lovely stay in Rome, Italy. The occation was the “Pink Attitude” book release party at Be Cool art gallery. The air was bubbly and vivid, with pink lights illuminating the artworks on the wall, and making us all bathe in pink light. Everything was perfectly well thought out, from the adorable little chairs/tables in pink (of course) with the little dotted silver text “pink” on it, as well as the food hanging from the walls in small nets, for the guests to enjoy with their complimentary drinks. Everybody has been so nice to me, I’ve been floating around on small clouds all day. I got the chance to meet lovely Cikita Z and nonsonounabamb0la, Ajee and the underscore team (love you!) and I am now back in Sweden with a happy smile on my face, and a beautiful pink book in my lap. There was a filming guy there as well as photographers, so if I get my hands on more info about the party I’ll update later. But for now, enjoy some images of the book and from the party! Kisses on both your cheeks!

It is known that happy people think more happy thoughts than unhappy people. If we think happy thoughts… we create happy perceptions… we create a beautiful aura of light around ourselves… which leads us to happy events. And so we create a exciting circle (where we become even happier).

I was born deep in the heartland of America. In Indiana that heart beats with corn and basketball, but mine did not. After a stellar career of attending punk shows and playing drums in instantly forgettable bands, I attended art school at Indiana University. I moved to Montana in order to live the utopian wilderness art dream, only to find my neighbor drunk as a skunk throwing rocks at my fence screaming that I was on his land. Then the clouds parted and Portland Oregon appeared. I love this city. Now I make art and curate art shows. I was previously the curator at Moshi Moshi gallery in Portland before becoming the curator at Compound Gallery. My goal is simple. Seek out great art and let everyone know about it. Bring the artist and the art lover together. Allow the artist to grow and enjoy the rewards.
