Pink Attitude featured in Elle Decor Italia

July 01, 2008

I love and respect Elle’s various magazines and I am happy to see they recommend the Pink Attitude book

You know, I have the swedish Elle decor magazine at home too, not many issues but once in a while when I feel like I should clean up my mess at home and need some inspiration that’s where I go to seek it out! They always take the temperature on the new incoming stuff, so it feels very fun and rewarding to have taken part in the Pink Attitude project and be featured in this lovely “coffee table book” (with an intricate soul and heart, you can see it in the art as well as read it in the text written by Enrica Mannari) that you really can’t get enough of. I can flicker through the pages forever, and I often stop at Arisu, Liz Lorini and Marguerite Sauvage. And I love the hearts and locks that Anna Pourro have added in the begging and end of the book. They are amazing and beautiful!

Speaking of books, I was offered to make the 3d styling-book as well for the Norweigean publisher Pantagruel, something which I gladly accepted of course. It has been a joy to make the sketchwork for book 2. Book 3 will be in a little different style, which I’m already coming up new ideas for, and I will start working on it in August. And before that- I will go on vacation! I seriously need it, I’m such a lazy girl now haha. I want to enjoy the short summer of Åre, and maybe have some time to clean up the appartment, take a bath, do girly stuff like face-mask and hair-mask and paint my toe nails. And climb mountains. Because we do have a lot of that around here, and it’s said to be beautiful tracks so I don’t have to be scared of dying hee hee. Note to self: don’t waist time on fixing feet and toe nails BEFORE climbing the mountain. Do it after. End of note to self.

My friend and I often argued about coffee and its influence on our health. He said that it is dangerous and didn’t allow me drinking it in the morning, I am fond of coffee and was looking for the facts in favor of this drink. In the long run, we both were right. In the book I’ve read ( http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ebook/coff/coffee+to+drink+or+not+to+drink.all.html ) there’s much info about pluses and minuses of coffee. In order to come to the compromise, I drink coffee only twice a week wink

Coffee? It influences differently on people, though still it’s impossible to call it harmless.  Inspite of that many agronomy programmes aimed at increasing the income of coffee farmers were adopted (I found detailed information about them on http://rapid4me.com rapidshare search engine). By improving the methods in coffee growing farmers can get higher quality yields andincrease coffee supply in the country.

“There are doctors that have been enlightened as far as natural cures that have been around for hundreds of years, and their medical boards take them up on charges,” said Dr. Bruce Shelton, former Arizona homeopathic board chairman. “Those doctors are welcomed here to practice integrative medicine.”
Critics say board members have acted against the best interest of patients in many cases. Those critics include a pair of longtime public board members who said their concerns went unheeded because they were outvoted by the four licensed homeopaths on the board. The six-member board consists of four homeopaths and two members of the public.

Given the breadth of the DMCA, the fair-use rights of the public at large also are at risk. From the college student who photocopies a page from a library book or prints an article from a newspaper’s Web site for use in writing a report, to the newspaper reporter excerpting materials from a document for a story, to the typical television viewer who records a broadcast program for viewing at a later time, we all depend on the ability to make limited copies of copyrighted material without having to pay a fee or obtain prior approval of the copyright owner

During the first half of the eighteenth century, the French Navy began to develop a new type of vessel known as a ship of the line, featuring seventy-four guns. This type of ship became the backbone of all European fighting fleets. These ships were 56 metres (180 ft) long and their construction required 2,800 oak trees and 40 kilometres (25 mi) of rope; they carried a crew of about 800 sailors and soldiers.
